Our Transformation Journey

Transformation in an organisational context is a profound process of change that moves an organisation into a new direction and brings it to a completely different level of effectiveness.

We began our journey in 2005 with our office in Turkey, focusing on HR consultancy in the field of Search & Selection. Similar to all human beings in their first years, we experienced our surroundings (in our case the Turkish market), followed our instincts, developed an environment and grew day by day until we lost our milk teeth and replaced them with adult teeth.

We grew – in knowledge, insights and our team of competent experts in human resource development extended. Within the first 7 years, we transformed, put ourselves into a new stage of awareness and started our first international Management to Leadership project.

In the years from 7 to 14 we learned to share, interact and co-create together with our local and international customers’ wonderful Leadership projects. Also we developed our boundaries of influence in HR consultancy to create sustainable impact. Like every cell on this earth and our metaphor of the human growth, we passed the age of 14 and are now in our 15th year of exploring life also emotionally and self-consciously. Independence is one of the key driving forces of this period – and ours, too.

So we left our past and turned to new insights and a different level of maturity. We are no longer satisfied with consultancy and concepts that are built for the moment or last for a year. We are eager to support organisations with sustainable solutions, which support their growth, own maturity and develop a place for their people that is much more than just a place to work.

We are PeopleAtRightPlace – and we found out, that our company’s acronym “PARP” is also the term for a family of proteins involved in important body processes such as cell recovery and DNA repair. We don’t need to dwell on medical details – all you need to know about PARP is that these proteins repair all kinds of errors in the DNA structure of the human body.

Our approach is exactly the same: the mission of PeopleAtRightPlace is to help repair damage to the DNA of organisations.

The DNA of an organisation is its culture, which is expressed through the behaviour of its people, its values and structural processes. If one of these components is not in the “right” place, this negatively affects the whole organisation, and it gets “ill”. With the “genetic” method developed by PeopleAtRightPlace, we are able to support the recovery of the DNA structure – setting it on course for a sustainable and joyful future.

Our own experiences have proven to us that when we are able to full utilise our talents and potential in the right job – our place of purpose –, work becomes something enjoyable, something we love doing and are passionate about. While working with many different organisations worldwide, the PeopleAtRightPlace team has experienced that employees in the right place, empowered with sufficient authority and the necessary supporting structures, have become more efficient and happier with their job responsibilities – to the extent of creating a sense of entrepreneurship and a deep connection to their organisation.

We at PeopleAtRightPlace dare to question stagnant patterns of behaviour and organisational structures. We have the courage to tackle things differently. Unconventionally. Out of the norm. Unlike everything we were used to in recent decades. What we need more than ever today are transformers: people who are constantly learning to unlearn and willing to adopt new ways of thinking and acting, on a daily basis.
